Get to know the popular Austrian bike park Wexl Trails near Vienna, approximately 1.5 hours by car from Bratislava.
Wexl is a relatively young Bike Park, ideal for lower intermediate riders who want to get acquainted with riding in a Bike Park. The trails are made for the widest possible spectrum of people from the lowest difficulty up to the black downhill track, which is still relatively easy. At the same time, those who like to fly on the Air Line, or the devotees of technical riding on the DH track, which is not very steep, but pleasing, will also find bliss here.
Since it is a Bike Park, the lift will take care of the way uphill to the beginning of the trails, so there is no need to pedal. For those who do not want to pay for the lift and instead want to sweat a little in the super warm summer temperatures, Wexl also offers a very nice uphill trail.
In addition to the Bike Park trails, there are also others above the park to be explored. One of them is the WU trail on the top of Hochweschel peak, which we will have to get up to first, which will help us build some fitness and spin our legs. The climb is really worth it in terms of the views and the food, and on the way down we will take the WU trail and then back down the base of the Bike Park taking some of the trails on the way.
The price of the trip includes transportation in a 9-seater van with bicycles from Bratislava to Wexl and back, so you don’t have to worry about anything and relax before and after riding. Of course, the package also includes riding individual trails under the guidance of a certified MTB guide according to difficulty. Once done it will be open riding, either riding trails together according to preferences or individually if someone wants to ride other trails than the group or focus on specific trails instead.
You can also just go with us there and ride by yourself, if that suits you.
We are also trying to get a discount on the lift, but we will provide more information about that if we succeed.

Difficulty
The Bike Park has 4 different trails to offer directly accessible by lift, above the Bike Park there are multiple trails that require pedalling to get to the trail head. The trails in the Bike Park are ranging from Flow Trail (green), Jump Line (blue), Single Trail (red), DH line (black). The trails above the park are blue in difficulty. In general these trails are relatively easy and ideally for those learning and building technique.
Itinerary
8:30 Meeting under the Lafranconi bridge in Bratislava, loading of bikes and crew
8:45-10:15 journey to Wexl, basic briefing about the trails
10:15 Arrival at Wexl Trails and quick bike & safety check
10:30 Start of trail riding in the Bike Park
12:30-14.00 Hike to Hochweschel + Lunch
14:00 Taking the WU trail to the Wexl center and free trail riding according to preferences
16:00 boarding the van and going home (departure may be earlier or later according to group preferences)
17:30-18:00 arrival back in Bratislava

Pricing
If you buy places for 3 or more riders we are able to provide a group discount. We can also arrange a private trip for you and your group. Please reach out to us if you want to book for multiple riders and we will give you a custom price as each trip has a different pricing structure.
Minimum amount of riders is 5. The maximum is 6 due to shuttle limitations.

There is also a bike shop here so most things can be bought or repaired also on-site. We will do our best to get any issues fixed ASAP so you can continue your ride.
Bike
As this is an Enduro MTB trip, please make sure your bike fits the category, a full suspension bike with at least 140mm front and back is minimum, ideally more.
Cancellation

In case we need to cancel the trip for any reason we will refund the whole fee in full. We’re fully insured and financially covered so whatever happens, if we need to cancel a trip from our end, you will receive your money back.
Rider cancels short trip (0-3 days)
Please contact us ASAP if you need to cancel the trip for any reason. The following terms apply:
The trip can be cancelled 48h before its start at the latest in order to receive the full amount. We cannot refund any funds after this time.
We will try our best to find a replacement and try to refund the most we can if you have to cancel, but please keep the above conditions in mind if we do not succeed.
