Czarna Gora has been known in the past mainly for its downhill focus, as the tracks here were very challenging with a heap of big obstacles, especially in its natural form – rocks and roots paired with often very steep (DH-style) terrain and big man-made jumps on the lower sections. However, in recent years, the resort has begun to transform into a more enduro-friendly location and now boasts 15 trails of various difficulties (mostly red & black diamond) with about 1.8km downhill. What you can expect is a lot of routes snaking around throughout the whole mountain of Czarna Gora. On top almost all of the trails feature all sorts of features built from rocks of every size and shape. Aside of Milky Way and the short trails on the small lift all of the trails are quite difficult and therefore are recommended to upper intermediate to advanced riders. You won’t find a smooth stretch of trail for longer than a few meters. For lovers of enduro and technical riding this is paradise, but we do not recommend going here when it rains, because then biking changes into scooter riding. We will spent two days riding here. It is about 4 hours from Bratislava by car.
Difficulty
Both bike parks are relatively difficult with most of the trails ranging towards the top of the difficulty chart, i.e. red and black diamond. Therefore if you want to join you need to be comfortable and experienced enough with riding difficult technical trails with profficiency. Of course you don’t need to be an expert, as we’re all learning constantly and there’s no shame to push the bike down on features that are above your level of comfort. However we will be doing checks on every participant to ensure safety for themselves and the whole group, as well as have a relatively balanced group of riders to maintain a healthy pace throughout the trip.

If you buy for 3 or more riders we are able to provide a group discount. We can also arrange a private trip for you and your group. Please reach out to us if you want to book for multiple riders and we will give you a custom price as each trip has a different pricing structure.

As this is a trip to bike parks, please make sure your bike fits the category, a full suspension bike with at least 130mm front and back, ideally more.
Warning – Make sure its in very good riding condition – brakes, tires, derailleur etc. If we find a serious problem at the bike check, you will have to have it fixed before you can join us riding.
E-bikes are welcome, though lifts will take care of the uphill for us. If you have a hardtail and still want to go, let us know and we will agree individually. If not sure let us know.
Guide/s
This trip will be guided by Richard and the group will potentially be closed off by Eva at the rear. Richard is a certified MTB guide with almost 20 years of riding experience all over the world. If you have any questions let us know.
Accommodation
We will specify accommodation closer to the date. However it will be 2-3 person rooms in an apartment or bed & breakfast on a standard comfort level, so that we get a good nights sleep, a hot shower and have space to put our things to dry. Our bikes will be stored safely for the night.
Cancellation

In case we need to cancel the trip for any reason we will refund the whole fee in full. We’re fully insured and financially covered so whatever happens, if we need to cancel a trip from our end, you will receive your money back.
Rider cancels short trip (0-3 days)
Please contact us ASAP if you need to cancel the trip for any reason. The following terms apply:
- up to 1 weeks before the trip 80% of your fee is refunded, we keep the reservation fee to cover costs of finding a replacement
- up to 2 days before the trip 50% of your fee is refunded to cover the costs of a vacant seat and potentially not finding a replacement
- less then 2 days before the trip we cannot refund any fees, as we already have incurred fixed costs with accommodation, guides and we will not be able to find a replacement
We will try our best to find a replacement and try to refund the most we can if you have to cancel, but please keep the above conditions in mind if we do not succeed.
